THE MISSION
Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for “young” surveyors and new professionals to engage with one another, build lasting relationships, and strengthen their place within the broader surveying community.
Through local events, group outings, and community gatherings, we aim to cultivate a supportive network that encourages professional development, mentorship, and camaraderie in one of California’s most scenic and rugged landscapes.
THE PLACE
Our region is one of California’s most breathtaking and geologically diverse areas—stretching from the high desert basins near Bishop and Mammoth Lakes to the alpine forests and crystal waters of Lake Tahoe. Wit the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the west and the expansive Great Basin to the east, this region offers both challenges and inspiration to the surveying profession.
The Eastern Sierra isn’t just where we work—it’s where we explore, grow, and connect. It's a place where tradition meets adventure, and where the surveying community is as strong and enduring as the granite peaks that surround us.
